Vander makes Vi believe that whatever happened is on her. So Vi suffers and her guilt is so deep and destructive, believing that she turned Jinx into a monster and that what happened to Caitlyn's mother and to Piltover is her fault, she wants to prevent more ppl from getting hurt, and she feels she needs to go after Jinx, and she even believes that the war that will happen to Zaun is her fault.

So she tries to make things right as much as possible in a way that she believes is right. Like Christian Linke said here👇

Also it's hilarious that they confirmed Vander was the one who fumbled. Everyone thought the Vander/Silco divorce was mutual but turns out Vander was secretly writing notes app apologies the whole time

About Vi's "arc".

It is so so strange that in the finale, in those last moments of Vi mourning the like... 3rd dead Vander body she's seen, it flashes back to her mourning his first death in episode 3.

I get that it was there to draw attention to Vi's complete stagnation as a character since that moment, since she reacts the EXACT same way she would have if she was still that same teenage girl. She can't "let go" which is fine for a character flaw, but this is the end of the story and that used to be our MAIN CHARACTER.

Like it's not so much bad character writing, I understand it, it's just a really weird choice. I haven't seen a single person enjoy that moment while watching, they're mostly like "Vi wtf are you doing, leave him, he's a fucking zombie."

Why did the writers want us to feel frustrated by our hero at the very end of the show!? It was suddenly only about Jinx and her growth.

Vander coming back the way he did was just devastating to the story. If I could get rid of one character from Season 2 it'd be him. 100%

And if they had to include Warwick, he shouldn't have actually had "Vander" in him. He should have always been a reanimated corpse Jinx AND VI had to kill to move on. But no.

I just finished watching Act 2 of Arcane (I'm in fricking shambles omg--), but I wanted to acknowledge something I'm seeing rn

Jayce DISSAPEARED for a WHOLE YEAR (I think, the implications they gave us feel like a whole year has passed) into THE HEXCORE. The guy CAME BACK with a BAD LEG, HIS HAMMER ALL MESSED UP (even the hexcore energy for it became red!!) and HIS WRIST got FUSED with THE CRYSTAL that HE GOT from THE WIZARD. And he saw WEIRD CREATURES whenever he LOOKED at SOMEONE from VIKTOR'S CULT (yes it was a cult we can't deny that)

THIS GUY IS 100% TRAUMATIZED AND SOMETHING HAPPENED TO HIM WHEREVER THE FRICK HE ENDED UP

We NEED to wait for Act 3 to get an explanation as to what Jayce lived and saw, because if this hadn't happen, Jayce WOULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT!!! Or something is controlling Jayce like Viktor said (which yikes the realization Jayce will get of what he has done is gonna hit him so hard), or he's seeing something more than what they're letting us on, something sinister in the Hexcore inside Viktor (but ending up being the reason for the creation of the monster himself)

Whichever the case is, JAYCE ISN'T A BAD PERSON!!!, HE'S A TRAUMATIZED GUY DOING ALL OF THIS FOR A REASON WE STILL YET NEED TO WAIT AND SEE!!

Okay so my thing is, I totally GET why Felicia would want to name her daughter Powder, actually. When I hear powder, my first associations are powder puffs, powdered sugar, powder blue, powder snow; it’s CUTE and FLUFFY and GENTLE, of COURSE if I lived somewhere where names generally tended to be slightly nonsensical I’d name my daughter after something SO CUTE AND A BIT VINTAGE.

MY QUESTION IS WHY NO ONE EVER PULLED HER ASIDE AND TOLD HER WHAT EVERYONE ELSE’S FIRST ASSOCIATION WITH THE NAME POWDER WOULD BE—

Vander, the boys, and Powder's identity all died because Powder had to try to save her dad. And Vi blamed her for it

Then Jinx and Warwick died because Vi had to try and save her dad

One of the things I wish for in Season 2 is more scenes of Vander and Vi together as flashbacks and how he was training her. Honestly, I think this would be an excellent helper to the story when Vander returns as WarWick. And so does Vi when she realizes it's Vander.

After reading your thoughts for the Zaun Family threat plot, I'm just imagining baby Vanco being the morale boost for everyone 🥺 Everyone's tired and stressed tf out organizing everything to make sure Noxus doesn't occupy Zaun, and this adorable giggly baby comes into the room ❤️ On a less fluffy note, what do you think will Viktor's thoughts be about weaponizing Hextech since this time it's his people that are in danger? Esp if he and Jayce are together/married by this time.

While baby Vanco probably does help with the morale boost they're definitively not a baby anymore and more a kid (part of the reason I'm seriously eyeing Isha off as possible baby Vanco despite also really like her being Jinx' adopted kid is that she's about the right age at the equivalent point in canon and I can get a similar relationship with Jinx just being a really invested big sister). Naph is at least a toddler by this point as well.

So the reason I kind of needed to keep the whole External Threat narrative is because it is the reason for the JayVik separation in this verse. In that during the period where they realise that The Threat (now probably Ambessa) is a thing Jayce starts designing Hextech weapons behind Viktor's back. Viktor finds out and leaves to move back with his parents because he doesn't want his life's work to be turned into weapons even with the very real threat of conflict there. Then while Viktor is in Zaun (and during a week Naph is with Viktor) The Threat actualises (so in my current plan Ambessa strikes and takes control of Piltover).

Meanwhile Viktor builds his Machine Herald armour and Jinx builds her shark-bazuka based on her access to Hextech (Viktor made her promise not to build bombs with it, this is not a bomb). And while that seems really hypocritical on Viktor's part on the surface it's kind of not because a handful of one-off weapons that are being used by his family is actually different to mass-producing Hextech guns which is what Jayce was planning.

Then during The Threat (here fending off the Occupation) Jayce and Viktor reconcile and get back together. Because this is ultimately a happy(er) AU.
